Finding Farley: My Love Story! Ed O’Reilly (A photo expedition along the Province’s south coast.) Two summers and 3,000 nautical miles, Ed O'Reilly sailed the South Coast photographing the magnificent seascapes and communities of this formidable coastline and reading Farley Mowat.

Coastal Encounters: A  Guide to Inter-Species Relations and Wave Interactions on the Coastal Waters of  the insular portion of Newfoundland and Labrador.  Karina Carroll, Msc. Marine Biologist.Larina's  presentation will focus on species identification, interesting facts and behaviours, and human-wildlife interactions. She will also present wave-action information to supplement the observational skills of sea kayakers and improve understanding of their coastal playground.

Dr. Chris Sladden, when not earning a living as a dermatologist, paddles white water throughout the world. On Wednesday May 17th, at Hampton Hall, Marine Institute, Ridge Road, at 7:30, Dr. Sladden will entertain us of his adventures of rivers, gorges and the characters he has encountered over the past 30 years.
